Every senior dreams of hosting the perfect color run—the kind of event that will be talked about for years to come. The exhilarating challenge of planning and executing an experience where every single participant leaves with a smile, drenched in color and unforgettable memories, is no small feat. It takes dedication, organization, and an unwavering commitment to fun. Yet, this senior class has risen to the occasion with enthusiasm, determination, and an infectious energy that reminds us why we cherish them so much.
The long-awaited event is officially scheduled for Saturday, February 15, from 7 AM to 10 AM. Now, you might be thinking—that’s early. Really early. Who in their right mind would willingly wake up before the sun just to get splashed with color? Well, don’t worry! The seniors have thought of everything. To ensure a smooth and welcoming check-in process, they’ve handpicked the most patient, kind-hearted, and cheerful individuals to greet and register participants. No matter how groggy you may feel rolling out of bed, rest assured that the warmth of these smiling faces will instantly lift your spirits. The senior class is incredibly grateful for everyone who has signed up, and they want to make sure your experience starts on the right foot—from the moment you arrive.
To get a better understanding of the excitement surrounding this event, I had the privilege of interviewing Emily Alfaro, senior class president, who is in charge of organizing the run. I asked her what she thought about the event and, more importantly, how they plan to get people truly motivated and excited for the big day. She had a lot to say.
How do you think that we can get more people motivated?
“I believe that by promoting the color run regularly and hyping it up, people will be much more motivated to come and support. As well as adding new elements to the color run, which will intrigue people to come.”
What’s going to make this color run stand out?
“Our class touch will be on it all, there are some newer elements being added to this event like the nacatamales as well as a few differences in how we will be running the fun run this year. But I believe that our enthusiasm and excitement as a class will pour into this event and this will mainly make it stand out. We hope that our hard work and effort will be visible throughout the event and that it will be the best color run yet!”
So on behalf of the senior class of 2025 of NCA International, I would like to invite you to get out of your comfort zone and participate in the run!
