“Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another: ‘What! You too? I thought I was the only one.” – C.S. Lewis

Essays, tests, quizzes, projects, sports practices, band rehearsals, leadership meetings: these are all things which make up our daily lives as students. To endure, many of us enter a “state of focus”, which allows us to concentrate on what we have to do to keep ourselves on track. The problem with this “state of focus” is that it blurs out everything that is not our priority.

In school, most people get comfortable with their friend groups, and usually “blur out” the rest of the student body. Each person has their own narrative, and if you devote the time to take a look into another person’s story, you might find that you actually have a lot of things in common. For this reason, I’ve interviewed some members of NCAI, asking them fun questions that allow us to take a peek into their personalities and their lives.

Our own story is made up of different people; some have longer parts than others, but at the end of the day, it’s the variety in chapters that make a book interesting. I encourage you guys to reach out to people you don’t usually talk to and listen to their stories because you might be surprised! 🙂
