After a well fought game, NCAI Varsity Soccer boys lost 0-2 in the Copa Semifinal. With the disadvantage of not having their head coach, Mr Turner, and a few missed calls from the referee, they still tried very hard. We are very proud of our soccer team and how far they made it in the copa. Let’s go Eagles!

Girls Varsity Soccer
Sat 26/10 – Varsity vs René Schick @ Sports Slam starting at 8
This Saturday, the NCAI varsity girls’ soccer team marched onto the field, ready to fight for a place in the final of the Copa Fuente Pura. The game was supposed to start, but the other team was nowhere to be seen. After a few minutes of waiting, the game began with the opposing team composed of only eight girls.
The game was very intense, with our girls having many close shots. The majority of the game was played with NCAI on offense. However, no goals were scored. The final whistle blew, and the game moved to penalties. The crowd all stood along the sidelines, anxiously watching.
The Eagles scored their first two penalty shots, but so did the other team. After we scored our third and René Schick missed theirs, NCAI had the advantage. The rest of the penalties were made by both teams, which means the NCAI Eagles won and will now play ANS in the final of the Copa Fuente Pura.
