Diana:
How many years have you been at NCA?
I’ve been at NCA since Prek-1, so for 15 years now.
What are your plans for after graduation?
After graduation, I am going to Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida, and I am going to be studying International Relations with a minor in International Business.
What was your favorite class at NCA?
Throughout my years at NCA, the classes I enjoyed the most were my history classes.
What is the best advice you would give to students coming behind you?
The best advice I could give to students coming behind me is to always persevere, speak up when you don’t agree with something, and to do everything with the best attitude.
What has been your favorite memory of senior year?
My best memories of senior year are definitely the first day of school, our senior discussion in the junior-senior retreat, the Color Run, and our laughs and talks at the senior table at lunch.

Daniela:
How many years have you been at NCA?
I have been at NCA for 11 years. I was in NCA Nejapa for one year (2nd grade), and then I transferred to NCAI.
What are your plans for after graduation?
After I graduate, I plan to take 6 months to do service in the group of churches my parents work with. I would like to expand my knowledge by continuing into law school in February 2023. That is the plan for right now. I don’t know if God might change that in the future.
What was your favorite class at NCA?
I love all my classes at NCAI. I think my top three favorites are U.S History, English, and AP Spanish Literature. I love reading classics and examining anything that has to do with history. I love it so much that I’m even planning to get a degree in Greek and Roman History.
What is the best advice you would give to students coming behind you?
HAVE DISCIPLINE. Read that again. If you don’t have discipline in life, your dreams will stay dreams. Make your dreams goals.
What has been your favorite memory of senior year?
My favorite memory so far is when we gathered for everyone’s birthdays. It’s always those few times when we all get together to celebrate, for the last time as seniors, a family member’s new digit. I love the Family of 2022. I’m so thankful for them. I was raised with them since 3rd grade. They will NEVER leave my heart. To those that are coming behind you I say: don’t waste the time you have. 🙂

Mikayla:
How many years have you been at NCA?
9 years (since 4th grade)
What are your plans for after graduation?
I plan to attend Liberty University and study nursing.
What was your favorite class at NCA?
Anatomy and Physiology
What is the best advice you would give to students coming behind you?
Spend time with God. Build a personal relationship with him and trust the Lord in everything. He is so faithful and his promises never fail.
What has been your favorite memory of senior year?
I’ve made a lot of really fun memories with the 10th grade girls, my small group girls, and hanging out with my friends. Going on the Junior-Senior retreat, birthday parties, hangouts, basketball things, and all the other fun activities I’ve been a part of.

Oscar:
How many years have you been at NCA?
I came to NCA in Pre-K 2 but left halfway through 3rd grade. I came back in 7th grade and haven’t left.
What are your plans for after graduation?
I plan to either first join the military service in Taiwan or go into university. If I don’t go into university, I will take a gap year to strengthen my Chinese in Taiwan.
What was your favorite class at NCA?
I have always loved math, and I would say math is my favorite subject, but I also like PE.
What is the best advice you would give to students coming behind you?
If you really want a good university or your dream university to accept you, do your homework and get good grades.
What has been your favorite memory of senior year?
All the times I spent my day with friends at their houses. We either played Gang Beast or Super Smash Bros or just talked about life.

Alia:
How many years have you been at NCA?
Too many. Jk. I have been at NCAI for 13 years and NCA Nejapa for one.
What are your plans for after graduation?
I am going to Wheaton College right by Chicago. I am not sure what I want to study yet, but I really want to study another foreign language. I hope I don’t freeze.
What was your favorite class at NCA?
Core Fitness or Racket Sports definitely.
What is the best advice you would give to students coming behind you?
Have fun. Enjoy it. You’re only in highschool once. Your homework and opportunities may seem like a burden but they truly are a blessing in a disguise. Be grateful for that. Life is so much about perspective and you would be surprised how much a grateful perspective changes the rest of your life.
What has been your favorite memory of senior year?
Probably singing Matchmaker or Senior Retreat.

Gloria:
How many years have you been at NCA?
I have been at NCA since my freshman year, so for four years.
What are your plans for after graduation?
After graduation I plan to complete my undergraduate at Boston College, where I will major in Biology through the pre-med track. I want to eventually enter medical school and become a pediatrician who can aid children around the world.
What was your favorite class at NCA?
My favorite class was an elective called 2-D Art. Even though it lasted only for a semester, I had so much fun with the different projects and learning more about the foundation of art.
What is the best advice you would give to students coming behind you?
If you are unsure about trying something new, just do it. You will have more regret by choosing not to do it at that time.
What has been your favorite memory of senior year?
My favorite memory has to be our senior trip because of the time that I was able to just spend with the class.

Fedra:
How many years have you been at NCA?

What are your plans for after graduation?
Study and live my best 4 years in college.
What was your favorite class at NCA?
US History
What is the best advice you would give to students coming behind you?
Try to always look at the positive side, and don’t let a grade define your future.
What has been your favorite memory of senior year?
I would say Senior Chapel and every day in study hall.

Na Young:
How many years have you been at NCA?
I have attended NCA for about 11 years.
What are your plans for after graduation?
I plan on going to college in South Korea, majoring in English Education or English Language and Literature.
What was your favorite class at NCA?
My favorite class at NCA has been either Marine Ecology or Guitar class.
What is the best advice you would give to students coming behind you?
The best advice I have for students is to get involved with different school clubs/activities. Even if something doesn’t seem interesting, I encourage you to try it first because you might end up loving it! This will help you get to know more about yourself, meet new people, and give you some things you can write in your college applications ;).
What has been your favorite memory of senior year?
I don’t have one specific favorite memory from this year, there are so many memories I have made that are significant to me. Some of them are the Senior Retreat, the Junior-Senior Retreat, the Color Run, and the Christmas dinner with my class.

Rodrigo:
How many years have you been at NCA?
1.5 years at NCAI.
What are your plans for after graduation?
I am going to college. (Gettysburg)
What was your favorite class at NCA?
Comparative Government.
What is the best advice you would give to students coming behind you?
If you enroll in AP Calculus AB, perseverance and dedication will get you through the course.
What has been your favorite memory of senior year?
Senior retreat.

Frank:
How many years have you been at NCA?
I’ve been at NCA for around 8 years now.
What are your plans for after graduation?
My plan after graduation is to go to a university in Nicaragua and then get my masters in the U.S.
What was your favorite class at NCA?
My favorite class at NCA is definitely 2022(No Bias….).
What is the best advice you would give to students coming behind you?
I think the best advice I would give to students coming behind me would be to try any extracurricular activity they can and enjoy high school. Honestly, you just have to find the balance between school assignments and other activities you might enjoy.
What has been your favorite memory of senior year?
I think my favorite memory of senior year cannot be described in a particular event, but rather the journey I’ve had and the people that have been around me. So senior year is just the culmination of many good memories I’ve had with my friends, teammates, and family in this school.

Natan:
How many years have you been at NCA?

What are your plans for after graduation?
Study abroad, in the field of Computer Science
What was your favorite class at NCA?
Chemistry/Advanced Coding/Intro to Guitar
What is the best advice you would give to students coming behind you?
Apply early to college, do early decision.
What has been your favorite memory of senior year?
The senior retreat

Diego:
How many years have you been at NCA?
I moved here from Panama when I was in 4th grade so this will be my 9th year at NCA
What are your plans for after graduation?
I got accepted into Vanderbilt University where I plan to study Electronics Engineering with a minor in Computer Science or, as I like to call it, “Iron Man Development” 🙂
What was your favorite class at NCA?
I’m really bad at choosing “favorites”, but my top list would have to be Physics(obviously), Geometry with Dr. Sjoberg, World History with Pasker, and Programming in general. The order really depends on the day.
What is the best advice you would give to students coming behind you?
Everybody lives in different circumstances, advantages, privileges, struggles. Yet, it doesn’t really matter what hand you’re dealt, just how you play your cards. A smart man with a switchblade can accomplish far more than a fool with an army. Or if that’s too philosophical then just remember to have fun 😅
What has been your favorite memory of senior year?
The musical was such an awesome experience to be a part of, especially considering that I did it with my friends. Highly recommend, even if you can’t sing at all like me jaja
