1. If you could describe your life in school in 3 words, what would it be?
Very educational, yes.
2. What would you say is your best memory from school?
The retreat in Campo Alegria was fun, but it would be an injustice to not pick this year’s Spiritual Emphasis Day and Amplify afterwards.
3. If you could relive a school year, which one would it be and why?
11th, [because of] grades.
4. Who has impacted you the most in this school?
Mr. Russell, for the class discussions on life.
5. What are your likes and dislikes?
Likes: music, programming, food.
Dislikes: loud anything, when people leave a room but leave the door slightly open.
6. What do you plan to study at college? Where do you want to go?
Software Engineering. Not sure where.
7. Where do you see yourself ten years from now?
As an entrepreneur directing my own startup company, married, and with a kid. I’ll be almost 30 by then.
8. What is something most people don’t know about you?
Hmm. I really like anime.
Why? because of the stories. Anime has a way to be personal, even more than other mediums of storytelling. And because it usually comes in the form of shows, there is more time to get invested in the characters. And it has music.
It’s quite sad that it has the negative connotation that it does. I would say I probably wouldn’t be the same person that I am today if it weren’t for some of these shows, namely Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, as they have influenced the way I see people, relationships, and life in general. And if I don’t always talk about it or dress up as characters, it’s simply because I’m not that type of person.
9. Any words for the upcoming seniors and high school students in general?
Do your homework on time. Once it’s late it will always be late.
