Directions
Use the following guidelines to improve and format a journal entry.
- Open the filed called Worst Enemy from My Network Places–Classes–CompApps–Word Adv. and save a copy in your folder.
- Following the School Report guidelines, add the proper heading (not header) at the top of the first page including your name, teacher’s name, class name, and date.
- Title the paper, “My Worst Enemy.” Center the title and double space the heading and title only.
- Highlight all of the main paragraphs and add an automatic 0.20 inch space after each one.
- While only the paragraphs are highlighted, add a first-line indent of 1/2 inch to each of the paragraphs.
- Improve the flow of the text by using the thesaurus to change repetitive words. Find different synonyms for each occurrence of the words: mean, nice, kind, and funny.
- Fix the spelling of the Spanish names to include accents and eñes. The names should be Rául, Toño, René, and José.
- Save the modified file.
- Raise your hand and ask your teacher to grade your document on screen.
